February has never been my favorite month – it’s usually the time where I’m completely done with winter, and am more than ready for some sun. That, and for the past five years, February is a time when I’ve been in university non-stop for six months, and I’m ready for a break.
So, every year, I try to do something special to make it a little more bearable. Starting last year, I began the tradition of staying at my relative’s cabin in Point Roberts for a few days, just to get out of my every day rut and do something different.
Point Roberts is, and always has been, one of my favorite places on earth. I’ve been going there for as long as I can remember, and I always feel like I’m in another world when I’m there.
